speedpaint - landscape

Big UP to David Levy for his knowledge and generosity with photoshop custom brushes.. I watched his gnomon workshop dvd and a lot of the brushes he creates and his tips on painting process came in pretty handy. The palette knife can be a tricky beast, but i can tell once you master it you can speed up your work a lot! Hope you like it.

Ray - Photoshop. I havent had the pleasure of meeting vyle, but listening to him talk on dvd makes it feel like he's right beside ya! haha. I havent tired artrage yet, have you? seems like fun.

Nate, thanks broheim. The palette knife is great for bangin out sharp edges and adding form to your shapes. Its angle jitter dynamics are set to pen tilt, meaning you can get a nice range of brush strokes depending on how you tilt the pen!.. BAM!!

Hey Jess, I have a bunch of brushes I have created if you would like to try them out - large file sizes though. It's good to see you keeping at it. Dave Chambers

The only thing I would watch Jess is the intersecting lines - flag vs. clouds. This makes the flag sort of look like the back end of a ship and the light clouds become exhaust.

How are thing going for you so far? PM me.
